O.D. = Outside Dimension
Because of the unique design of the
Rack cast aluminum alloy corner (see shadowed corners in graphic images
above), 1 vertical rack unit of space, at both the top and bottom (see
image at left above), is used to form the Rack height. However,
the unique design adds 3-3/4" to the U height & 2-3/8" to the
width and depth dimensions when measuring rail-to-rail (see images
above). To determine the outermost dimension of your Rack, be
sure to add 1/4" to account for outer wall
thickness of the cast metal corner. |

PACKAGE C (Height Rails) can
be substituted to create any
PACKAGE B
Any width, depth or height rails,
consequently, are available in 43 (1-3/4") rack increments in Steel
and 46 (1-3/4") rack increments in Aluminum. That's how 79,507 Steel
and 97,336 Aluminum Frames can be configured using only three
proprietary parts; Cast Corners, Rails, and Dog Point Screws. Steel,
and especially our Aluminum Racks, are very lightweight, maneuverable
and space efficient to help solve unique and unusual storage space
limitations. Racks can be stacked, ganged together and transformed
into the only Racks you'll ever need. Build all kinds of Neat Stuff!
