This custom Star Case was designed and produced for the manufacturer of a new and innovative I.V. pole. The introduction of this product demanded a protective shipping container to insure its safe arrival at multiple hospitals and health providers on an international basis. The need was for a shipping container that permitted the I.V. pole to travel in a fully assembled mode to insure fast and user-friendly set-up, presentation and knock-down.  Case
& Lid sections attached with heavy-duty, full length, piano-type
hinge. 2 heavy-duty recessed twist latches (1 is padlockable) on front
hinged opening lid. 2 recessed spring-loaded handles on all 4 sides for ease of
movement. Case interior is lined with minimum 1" polyester foam with extensive
high density polyethylene and softer polyester foam blocking to
capture fragile IV stand inside. Case section is equipped with 4 heavy-duty 3-1/2" swivel casters and
3/4" thick protective casterboard. An additional caster is installed
on hinged opening from lid for support when opened. 1/4" ATA Star case walls with stucco
finish fiberglass outer laminate.- Fully ATA (Air Transport Assoc.) compliance throughout. 10 case color choices, stucco finish
fiberglass laminated to 1/4" ATA Star case walls.
