| This system is comprised of two cases; an upper dual lid, dual width
shock mounted rack (style F4D) with fully removable inner rack shell. Star Case
offers 6 different styles of rackmount case, each
designed to satisfy a different set of applications. The F4D style shown is
identical to our F4 shockmount rack style, however has
two side-by-side rack bays of equal height & depth. Our client stipulated numerous guidelines, information and requirements that the finished system must meet. Following is a brief listing of those guidelines and requirements which we took into consideration before designing and building this case system: |

The Result: The case system shown here is ideally suited for field work or portable trade show demonstrations. Variations to consider are an increase in the number and size of drawers, an increase or decrease to rackable component height or depth, a smaller system with single width rack case and narrower drawers, or perhaps a third stackable case with ventilated space for a video monitor(s), a pull-out keyboard shelf, or additional components. |
