The Designer Series Rack Kit Assembly Details

Kit Contents:
Master Frame Pack - 1 preassembled 4-sided bottom
frame, 1 preassembled 4-sided top frame, 4 nylon leveling feet &
instruction sheet.
Height Pack - 4 rack rail height extrusions, 10-32 rack
screws & washers and 16 dog point assembly screws.
All pre-packaged rack kits are industry standard 19" EIA rackmountable width.
Standard Designer Series Rack Kits vary in height from 4RU to 48RU in 4RU
increments with rack rail to rack rail depths of 20-3/8", 24-3/8" or 30-3/8"
consisting of a top and bottom factory preassembled frame (Master
Frame Pack) and
a set of 4 rack rail height extrusions (Height Pack).
Designer Series Frames in custom sizes are also available.

Designer Series Rack Kits Part Numbers

Pre-Packed Designer Series Rack Kit Part Numbers are prefaced with 2 letters
followed by 4 digits. The first 2 letters define the Rack category
(DS=Designer Series). The next 2 digits define the Rack Height in rack
units (RU) and the last 2 digits define the Rack Depth in inches.
Example - a DS2430 is a
Designer Series Rack Kit having 10-32 tapped mounting holes and will accept up to 24
rack units (42") of component height and will have a rack rail to rack rail depth of
30-3/8". |
