The Cross Brace option for your steel or aluminum rack is engineered to provide added structural strength & integrity to your rack structure.
Note that the four Cross Braces included in the box have a slightly different appearance at both ends. One end is blunt while the opposite end is pointed. (see Fig. 1)
When installing your cross braces, make sure the pointed end of each brace is screw fastened to the top & bottom (depth) rack rails. (See detail 1 in Fig. 2).
The blunt end of each cross brace screw fastens to the rack rails running from top to bottom (height rails) of your rack. (See detail 2 in Fig. 2).
