Overview:
Our fanfold
is ideal for installation in numerous case descriptions. It's a high quality
organizer with three expanding document compartments, snap-locking retainers,
velcro-closure calculator compartment and slots for pens, etc. This is standard
issue in the Power Case and can be included (size
permitting) in nearly all Star Cases. Dimensions are
17-1/4"x11-1/2"x1" (wdh). Star Case tool pallets
(17-3/8"x12-3/8") are molded rubber with slots for nearly all tool sizes.
Bonded to a rigid backing material that snap-locks into case lid, these tool pallets stay
rigid and intact through even the harshest environments.
Fanfold Installation
Instructions:
Installation of the
fanfold organizer requires a strong epoxy adhesive to bond the
assembly to a clean surface (preferably the inner wood case
wall.) At Star Case we additionally use special fasteners to
attach all four outer corners of the fanfold, however, aluminum rivets
(driven from outside the case through pre-tapped 1/4" holes) will
work nicely. Don't forget to back the rivets inside the case
with steel washers for positive hold. Allow prescribed amount of
time for adhesive to dry before using.
Tool Pallet Installation
Instructions:
Tool pallets are retained
inside the case at the bottom portion with a piece of aluminum
"L" channel. At the top center of the tool pallets is
a metal enclosed key hole for a turning retention device (supplied) to
fit. This fitting must be permanently attached to the cases
inner wall surface, preferably with an aluminum pop rivet backed with
steel washer.
