The military field desk shown here is an ideal solution for military as well as commercial applications calling for deployment of field personnel needing rapid set-up and tear-down of computer systems, test equipment, video production systems and any other application calling for a high degree of organization.
This Star Case field desk concept affords the operator the ability to literally take the office to the field. Simply roll the fully ATA compliant field desk to its desired site, un-latch the front padlockable lid, fold-down the integrated collapsible table leg assemblies, pull up a chair and get to work. And, the combination of heavy-duty skid-work and heavy duty swivel casters facilitates fork lift handling and allows placement of the field desk on either hard surfaces or soft - whatever the "field" demands.
Field Desk interior includes a total of 6 rackmountable, glide-mounted steel drawers, our glide-mounted keyboard shelf with integral mouse tray beneath (maximum keyboard width [not included] is 16-3/4") and single large or multiple smaller steel or aluminum racks for EIA 19" component support.
