This is a 24 RU (42" rackable height) 24" rackable depth 19" width EIA, military grade rack case to satisfy a multitude of rackmount applications.  This military rack case has removable front and rear lids with special foam blocking in both lids to restrain & shock-isolate the inner foam-surrounded rack shell while case is in transit.  Standard features on this shockmount rack case are -3/8" outer wall heavy-duty case construction, 2" foam separating inner rack shell from outer case, recessed twist catches, padlockable security, multiple recessed, spring-loaded handles on all 4 case sides and a mar resistant black outer finish.  This case includes heavy-duty 3-1/2" swivel & locking caster wheels.  These military rack cases that can ship safely by common carrier; whether by air, land or sea

Military Cases - Commercial ATA Grade
The outer wall of all ATA grade cases and military cases is actually a combination of two different materials. First, we take smooth finish premium grade plywood sheets measuring 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch thickness (depending on case type you choose) and apply a proprietary stucco finish fiberglass material. This fiberglass finish (standard, no additional cost) forms the outer protective surface which protects against the day-to-day scrapes, dings and dents which occur when transporting your valuables. Together, these two materials form an incredibly tough case panel which will not separate due to intense heat or cold and resist fading due to the harsh affects of excessive exposure to direct sunlight. The stucco finish of the STAR CASE fiberglass surface demonstrates the excellent strength and durability features not available with any other surface material.

Remember, the ATA (Air Transport Association) is a guideline for rating the reusability of  packaging.  All Star Case types with the exception of our Carry Star line meet or exceed the testing procedures called out by this specification (ATA Specification 300, Category I.)
