ULTRA STAR "Standards" 1. Clear anodized aluminum finish on ULTRA Star angle extrusion improves cases appearance while providing a valuable corrosion barrier. 2. Inner & outer wall aluminum angle extrusion provides superior skeletal strength to case framework. 3. Exclusive clear anodized deep draw tongue & groove aluminum  valance makes upper and lower section alignment definite and least likely to mis-align. 4. The finest grades of 1/2" ACX , American-made, multi-layer plywood are used on ULTRA Star Cases. 5. Heavy-duty, spring-loaded, recessed twist catches are standard issue on ULTRA Star Cases. 6. High-strength, non-separating, stucco finish fiberglass laminate (available in 10 vibrant colors) is permanently bonded to case surface. 7. Exclusive step-down corner clamps provide support both vertically & horizontally for superior case section integrity. 8. Heavy-gauge steel knuckled ball corners with step-down feature protect outer corners while elevating case surface a minimum of 1/4" from ground level. 9. Heavy-gauge steel, recessed spring-loaded handles with large rubber grips are placed for ease of handling. 10. Extra wide, full-length, heavy-duty piano-type hinge is standard issue on ULTRA Star.
